Delete Your VocabFlow Account

Applies to the VocabFlow mobile app, developed by Anatolii Krotov  ·  Last updated: 29 July 2026

This page explains how to request deletion of your VocabFlow account and the data associated with it. There are two ways to do it: directly in the app (immediate), or by email (if you no longer have access to the app).

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your learning history, progress, streaks and saved words are removed along with your account. Make sure you have exported or noted anything you want to keep before you continue.

Option 1 — Delete your account in the app (fastest)

Your account is deleted immediately, no waiting and no request to approve.

  1. Open the VocabFlow app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top-left corner to open the side menu.
  3. Select Profile.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  5. Read the warning, type delete in the confirmation field to confirm, and tap DELETE ACCOUNT.

You are signed out straight away and your account can no longer be used to sign in.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

Use this if you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in.

Or write to privacy@vocabflow.net from the email address registered with your account, and include:

We may ask you to verify your identity before we act on the request — this protects your account from deletion by someone else. We respond within 30 days of receiving the request, as required by the GDPR.

If you have a paid subscription

Deleting your VocabFlow account does not automatically cancel a subscription bought through the app store — subscriptions are managed by Google Play or Apple, not by us. Cancel it first, otherwise billing continues:

Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account, and deleting your account does not entitle you to a refund of an active subscription period. Refunds are handled by the relevant app store.

Deleting some data without deleting your account

If you would rather remove specific data — for example your learning history — while keeping your account, email privacy@vocabflow.net describing what you want removed. The same 30-day response time applies.
